It’s been a rough week for me. One cold and two injuries. I’m not gonna lie, I’ve been better.

When times are tough, the good sides to life matter all the more. It gives us a perspective beyond the stress of our current situation.

Hey, let me share some good news with you.

Earlier today, a client I’ve been working with contacted me. It was only a brief conversation, but they couldn’t stop enthusing about how happy they were with my work.

Always a nice endorsement to have.

They’d hired me because they needed a copywriter to help them tell their story. A story of two teachers showing students the wonders of their subjects (while also getting damn good grades).

Storytelling doesn’t come naturally to most people. For some people, it’s uncomfortable. Like boasting.

What was my client so happy about that they had to talk to me, right then and there?

They’ve got a new student, who found them through their website.

A website my writing had made visible on a simple Google search. You’d be surprised how much some good writing can do for your rankings.

Every client makes a huge difference to a small business like theirs.

This is exactly why I got into copywriting.

It’s important to celebrate milestones.

What are you proud of this week? Share in the comments below, even if it’s something small. Every small step counts towards a big goal.

  1. Great post!

I totally agree—it’s so important to celebrate even the small milestones, even if it’s just a half step closer.

This week, I’m proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone to work on an action plan for something I will be starting next month. I’m also proud of myself for playing the piano again!
